Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be working with a commercial law firm to recruit an HR Advisor to join their busy team! You will provide professional and operational support for your allocated division and advise on a wide range of HR matters to include recruitment, employee relations and employee reward.
Day to day you will manage all recruitment and selection activities which will include the summer placement and graduate recruitment process, attending recruitment fairs where appropriate. You will also generate and issue contracts of employment, generate payroll documentation and participate in the induction process as well as undertaking exit interviews for anyone leaving the business.
The successful candidate will also manage disciplinary, capability, grievance and absence management processes, providing advice to Managers and drafting all associated documentation. As well as this, you will respond to any maternity leave and flexible working requests and be involved in the return-to-work process. You may also be involved in providing annual absence analysis, assisting with the annual salary review process as well as the renewal of practising certificates.
We are seeking applications from candidates who have a proven track record of working as an HR Advisor, ideally within a professional services environment. You will be able to work as part of a busy team and manage conflicting priorities, using your own initiative to resolve any problems. You will also be CIPD qualified.
