Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be working exclusively with Terumo Aortic, who are a medical device manufacturer with headquarters in Inchinnan, and who are looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The Role
You will assist in the overall functioning of the HR department, working closely with a team of HR Advisors and reporting into the Senior HR Advisor as well as working closely with all associates to provide a proactive HR service in line with the businesses needs and values.
Day to day, you will support with coaching and influencing managers from a people perspective, developing their people management/leadership skills and constructively challenge inappropriate behaviours/actions. You will provide advice and manage cases in line with business needs, ensuring and risks are identified and managed, you will also advise employees and line managers on policy queries and offer guidance, supporting and coaching Managers on any employee relations issues, suggesting practical solutions
You will conduct probationary meetings, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances, manage ill health absence, welfares and return to work and assist managers with investigating the reasons for under performance, you will also manage maternity and paternity cases. Alongside this, you will provide input and support to HR initiatives and projects to include providing an Occupational Health service to associates that require Health Screenings and Vaccinations as well as supporting the arranging of health screening clinics and vaccination clinics.
There will be an element of supporting Recruitment Managers in the attraction and retention of talent, assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process where necessary and conducting and recording exit interviews. You will also assist with recruitment interviews, approve recruitment offers and then assist with the administration of new starts, processing leavers and notification to payroll.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking applications from experienced HR Advisors who have experience of working proactively in an extremely busy environment. You will have excellent knowledge of UK employment law and will ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards. You will have excellent communication and time management skills and should be able to deliver results efficiently and with accuracy.
