HR Advisor/Business Partner
Glasgow (hybrid working)
Full Time, 6-month FTC
Up to £36,000 depending on experience
Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a social care organisation where people are at the heart of everything they do, and they now have an opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor/Business Partner to join them on a 6-month FTC to cover a period of maternity leave.
A hands-on role, providing a proactive and forward-thinking operational HR service to the business, operating as an internal consultant, influencing, identifying and maximising opportunities to improve people, capability and performance in line with the company values.
Day to day, you will provide a dedicated HR support, advice, and guidance to Managers across your region, enabling them to meet aims and objectives. You will support on employee relations issues, reports and cases to include absence, disciplinary, investigations, grievances/complaints, TUPE and consultation meetings. You will also work with absence systems to actively manage and address absence, assisting and supporting colleagues back to work as quickly and safely as possible, including working with occupational health.
You will interpret and implement HR policies, understand and anticipate the need for change and managing the impact of change on employees. You will be a point of contact for general guidance, information and resources across the business and aim to provide excellent harmonious employee relations. As well as this, you will promote workforce development practices such as induction, appraisals and policy training with direct delivery to group or one to one coaching.
We are looking to speak with HR professionals who have proven capability in complex situations as well as the knowledge and skills to lead on investigations, disciplinary, grievance and formal processes. Experience of TUPE and redundancy would be beneficial as well as an in-depth knowledge of employment legislation and an ability to interpret it to ensure organisation compliance. Candidates should also have a full UK driving licence and access to a car as some adhoc travel around sites may be required.
