HR Coordinator
6-Month Contract
Midlothian, Edinburgh
Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)
Up to £34,000, dependant on experience
Iconic Resourcing is delighted to be supporting a growing and innovative organisation in the search for an HR Coordinator to join their People team on a 6-month temporary contract. This is a great opportunity for an HR Assistant/Coordinator who is looking for a varied, hands-on role where they can build on their existing HR knowledge and gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle. No two days are likely to look the same and you’ll need to be comfortable moving between different priorities, responding to ad-hoc requests and adapting quickly as business needs change.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day HR support across the full employee lifecycle
- Managing and responding to employee and manager queries
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
- Preparing contracts, letters and other employee documentation
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Supporting payroll administration, including joiners, leavers and contractual changes
- Assisting with Right to Work and other compliance checks
- Supporting recruitment administration and new starter coordination
- Providing HR support to the Swiss operation, including areas such as work permits and cross-border working arrangements
- Assisting with HR projects and wider People initiatives
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc HR activity as priorities evolve
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience in an HR Assistant/HR Coordinator
- A solid understanding of core HR processes and the employee lifecycle
- Experience working across a broad range of HR activities rather than being focused on one particular area
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- The flexibility to manage changing priorities and respond positively to ad-hoc requests
- The confidence to work independently while knowing when to ask for support
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience handling confidential employee information
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems
You'll be joining a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly, so flexibility, resilience and a willingness to get involved will be just as important as your technical HR experience.
