HR Business Advisor
Glasgow (hybrid working)
Full Time, FTC (12 months)
£35,000 - £40,000 + benefits
Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be working with an international consulting firm with offices in the heart of Glasgow City Centre who are looking to recruit an HR Business Advisor to cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months.
Day to day, you will provide HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees across the business and be responsible for aligning HR business objectives and helping to develop strategy. You will also be responsible for using HR data and analytics to identify trends, provide insights and use these to support with decision making.
You will also support with:
- Collaborate with the Head of HR to develop and implement strategies, provide insights and recommendations on HR best practices, workforce data analysis and employee development.
- Manage any ER casework, supporting with investigations, grievance and disciplinaries.
- Support the creation of job descriptions and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition as well as supporting with any employee development initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures and be confident delivering training and guidance to employees on HR matters such as DE&I and equal employment opportunity.
- Support the performance management process including working with managers on performance evaluations and appraisals.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive employee value proposition, recommend improvements to reward and recognition platform and support annual review processes.
- Use HRIS to access, input and compile data. Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement and training effectiveness. Suggest improvements on the day-to-day operations within the HRIS and other automated systems as well as producing workflows.
- Provide guidance and support on DE&I matters, involvement in organising events around the DEI calendar and the development of the strategy.
We are looking to speak with candidates who have proven experience of working as an HR Advisor with a solid understanding of HR best practices and employment law. You will also have strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management and compensation and benefits.
As well as this, you will have an analytical mindset and proficiency in HR analytics and reporting tools and proven experience in using an HRIS (Cascade of Workday would be highly advantageous). You will have strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to provide practical and strategic HR advice.
