HR Business Partner
Glasgow (hybrid, some travel across Scotland)
Full Time, Permanent
£35,000 - £40,000 + car allowance and additional benefits
Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be working with Scotland’s largest hospitality group as they look to add an experienced HR Business Partner to their central team.
Reporting into the Head of HR, day to day you will provide guidance and advice in resolving issues that may have an impact on individual or team performance as well as building the capability of managers to inspire their teams to deliver; developing confidence, self-sufficiency and the ability to lead in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You will also provide an advisory service in relation to employee relations, checking correspondence for line managers to ensure that it meets legislative requirements, working closely with legal support, managing claims/potential claims early and effectively as well as identifying any trends and putting action plans in place to address any areas of concern and minimise risk.
As well as this, you will develop the understanding and practical application of the performance management framework; from embedding annual, quarterly and new starter performance reviews to developing/mentoring high potential employees via Personal Development Plan’s and supporting underperformance through improvement plans. You will plan, deliver and evaluate people development interventions in order to develop management capability in conjunction with the L&D team.
We are looking to speak with candidates who have sound Generalist knowledge of HR, ideally gained within a fast-paced environment such as retail, hospitality or facilities management. You will have a broad knowledge of handling high volume and complex ER issues with the ability to influence/persuade and challenge senior management. The successful candidate will also have excellent coaching, consultancy, facilitation and presentation skills.
Multi-site experience would be advantageous but not essential although travel across various sites in Scotland will be required.
