HR Business Partner

Iconic Resourcing HR are looking for a HR Business Partner to join an innovative and vibrant organisation in which the People team are going through an exciting period of change. The HR Business Partner will take a strategic lead within the organisation, taking ownership of delivering a highly effective HR service.
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager you will drive cultural change within the organisation by developing and implementing HR strategies and policies in line with objectives. You will also provide advice and guidance on a wide range of people management and resourcing matters to stakeholders. As well as this, you will oversee resourcing for a designated area and recruit key talent whilst being responsible for designing succession plans for staff and coaching managers in developing their staff to reach their full potential.
On a day-to-day basis you will be:
- Working with senior managers within designated areas to develop, implement, monitor and review their people plans as part of the business strategy
- Driving cultural change by implementing key HR strategies, policies and training
- Providing expert advice, coaching and guiding managers through complex employee relations matters such as disciplinary, grievance, performance and attendance management.
- Resourcing for designated areas
- Participating fully as an active member of the People Operations team, working in partnership with fellow HR business partners: collaborate and share information, coordinate activities, maintain an awareness of HR developments and support each other by sharing functional expertise.
- Working on strategic planning to develop, implement, monitor and review people plans as part of the business strategy.
The ideal candidate will be solution focussed, confident in dealing with all ER work in line with policies and procedures and have excellent communication and relationship building skills. This is a fast paced, busy and critical role within the People team where no two days will be the same. To be considered for this role, you will ideally have the following:
- Be educated to degree level or equivalent and possess membership of the CIPD
- Be confident in providing proactive, professional HR advice and practical expertise in relation to complex casework, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and establishing yourself as a trusted partner
- Have significant experience providing advice and coaching in all aspects of employee relation
- Work collaboratively with other members of the HR Operations team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of service
- Work closely with other members of the HR Operations team to manage areas of statutory compliance
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders in relation to recruitment
