HR Business Partner
Ayrshire based (hybrid working)
Full-time, Fixed Term Contract (6-12 months)
£50,000 - £55,000 + benefits
We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a supportive HR team, working with different parts of the organisation to provide practical HR support that helps meet real business needs.
In this role, you’ll balance both strategic planning and day-to-day HR activities, supporting people throughout their time with the company. You’ll play a key role in helping the organisation succeed by building strong relationships with managers, advising senior leaders, and developing HR approaches that improve both team performance and employee experience.
You’ll work closely with HR colleagues across Europe and beyond to understand what the business needs and turn that into clear, effective HR actions. This is a great chance for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working collaboratively, tackling challenges, and supporting positive change and growth.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement HR and People Plans aligned with business objectives
- Build strong, credible partnerships with business leaders at all levels
- Provide expert guidance on organisational design, employee relations, talent management, and performance processes
- Lead and support recruitment efforts to attract top talent
- Oversee employee relations issues with fairness and compliance
- Coordinate compensation processes, benchmarking, and budget management
- Maintain accurate employee data and support HRIS system improvements (Workday experience desirable)
- Ensure compliance with governance, legal, and audit requirements
- Drive projects and initiatives that support culture, engagement, and organisational effectiveness
Who You Are:
- Prior HR Generalist or HR Business Partnering experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced in HR day-to-day operations, compliance, and managing risks, with a practical approach to solving problems
- Good at building relationships and working well with people at all levels of the organisation
- Comfortable speaking up and offering different ideas when working with senior leaders
- Results-driven and clear communicator who works well with others
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems; experience with Workday is a plus
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
