HR Business Partner

Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be partnering with a well established client of ours as they add a new HR Business Partner to their HR team. This is a new role and you will be joining an organisation with remarkable heritage as they embark on an exciting People Journey.
The HRBP will be partnering with circa 400 employees in a standalone role with support from the wider HR team. This is an operational role however we are seeking someone who has an appetite to be involved in projects and strategic thinking.
Day to day you will be:

Building strong and meaningful relationships with directors and managers ( This will involve handling tough conversations)

Provide effective HR advice to managers, guiding them on best practices, current employment law, and company policies. Foster robust leadership and performance management among line managers to promote engagement and feedback

Partner with Directors and Managers to drive people metrics according to internal SLAs on retention, absence management, recruitment and case work
We are looking for someone who has:

Strong HR Advisory experience within a fast paced & complex environment

Experience handing employee relations casework

Confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders

Excellent knowledge of employment legislation

Experience of proactively intervention in business-critical situations, retention strategies, labour management etc
