Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a global financial services business who are looking for an experienced HR Consultant to review and analyse current people related activities in the current operating environment and to influence and implement change, aligning to local strategy.
You will be responsible for implementing a range of different initiatives associated to aspects of the employment lifecycle (onboarding, performance, compensation, leavers, line management capability) which will involve building relationships with senior stakeholders, managers and team leaders within a specific business area, as well as liaising with the central services HR team.
The HR Consultant will review and validate the existing structure and resource reporting lines to understand how the business operates, accessing different job roles and skill sets, reviewing and accessing job matching to ensure validity of job role levels. You will discuss and propose changes with leadership to organisational design and align this with achieving business goals, implementing changes through a leadership and management approach.
As well as this you will implement an ongoing performance culture, leveraging existing performance management strategy and tools to implement and embed with People Managers. You will review training requirements and make proposal solutions to support and enable upskilling, effectively delivering ongoing performance. You will create a career path map for the skill sets within your business area to facilitate a high-performance culture with visible progression routes. You will also take the lead on reviewing and analysing existing compensation elements (to include salary and bonus structure), making recommendations and providing data to analyse retention risk.
A busy and fast paced role, partnering with multiple stakeholders at different operating levels, advising, influencing, implementing and embedding positive transformational people focused activities which will include creating a line management culture of self service for people related activities, advising and reinforcing the HR operation model approach.
We are looking to hear from HR professionals with both operational and strategic exposure ideally within a financial services/processing operating environment. You will have a track record of contributing to the management of change successfully and a proven ability to develop a good understanding of business issues and how to identify and deliver HR interventions and solutions which meet business needs. Experience of dealing with complex relationships using coaching/feedback techniques as well as tactical negotiation and influencing experience with stakeholders is essential.
