Iconic Resourcing HR are excited to be working exclusively with FD People (part of the French Duncan family) to recruit a HR Consultant to join their growing team who will provide bespoke HR and employment law advice and support to external clients. This is a permanent position at their Glasgow City office and offers Hybrid working. There is an attractive salary and benefits package included with this role.
The Role
You will cover all aspects of the employment life cycle to include HR advice and administration comprising of disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and dismissals as well as preparing HR documents templates for contracts of employment and offer letters. You will also provide solid advice on HR best practice, employment law and practical experience and be pragmatic with options where possible.
Alongside this, you will also be responsible for setting up new clients on the company’s internal system, raising fees, preparing engagement letters, completing timesheets as well as spotting opportunities to upsell services. You will interact with both the partners and employees of the business and attend update meeting as and when required.
The Ideal Candidate
Candidates should come with a strong generalist background and ideally have had face to face consultancy experience or worked in a professional services environment. You may be involved in high volume, employee relations cases and therefore candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of this will be looked upon favourably. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential when dealing with external clients and stakeholders.
You will be motivated, enthusiastic, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to use your own initiative. Candidates with a CIPD qualification or HR degree is desirable with a minimum of 2 years HR experience. This is a great opportunity with a well-established team who will support your development!
