HR Coordinator - Edinburgh & Lothians

Edinburgh + Hybrid | £27,000 -  £33,000 DOE | Permanent

I am delighted to be partnering exclusively with ICAS, a respected and forward‑looking professional body, to recruit a stand‑alone HR Coordinator who will take ownership of core HR operations and be the steady, reliable heartbeat of a small but busy HR function.

ICAS is a long‑established professional body with a genuinely modern outlook. They’ve recently set out an ambitious strategy that puts people, ethics and learning at the centre of everything they do. They’re investing heavily in digital capability, sustainability and the future of the profession, making ICAS a forward‑looking organisation with a clear vision for 2030.

Their focus is on empowering trusted professionals, delivering high‑quality learning, and maintaining the highest ethical standards. For colleagues, that means working in an environment that takes pride in doing the right thing and staying relevant in a changing world.

The team sets high standards across day‑to‑day HR delivery, and they’re equally committed to supporting each other’s development. The Hr Coordinator role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the detail right, and wants to be involved in improving how things are done.

What the HR Coordinator will be doing

  • Supporting HR activity across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Keeping HRIS data up to date, handling payroll inputs and managing benefits administration.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for routine HR queries.
  • Producing HR reports using Excel, PowerPoint and ideally Power BI.
  • Spotting ways to streamline processes and make things run more smoothly.

What you’ll bring to the HR Coordinator role

  • Solid HR administration experience within an HR operations environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence using HR systems. Experience with People First is a strong advantage.
  • Good Microsoft skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word. PowerBI experience is desirable
  • Experience with payroll processes (helpful but not essential).
  • A calm, organised approach and the ability to handle confidential information.

If you’d like to work in a collaborative HR team, as a new HR Coordinator, where you’ll be trusted to get on with things and supported to grow, then apply now for more details!

To apply for this role, please send your CV or contact Anthony Oliva at Iconic Resourcing for a confidential chat and further details.
