Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be working exclusively with Terumo Aortic, who are a medical device manufacturer with headquarters in Inchinnan, and who are looking to recruit an HR Manager to join them to cover a period of maternity-leave for circa 12-18 months.
The Role
Reporting into the Global VP of HR, you will advise and support on delivery of the overall strategic aims and objectives of the business, identifying HR priorities and recommending appropriate people management solutions which support the business aims. You will also provide guidance and support to all staff on the full range of HR activities including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, restructuring of services, recruiting, retention, performance management and employee relations.
Day to day you will participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation, manage and develop the HR and Talent Acquisition team in conjunction within the performance management guidelines and implement performance and wellbeing initiatives.
Alongside this, you will continuously monitor, review, develop, implement and maintain HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary, ensuring that managers and staff are aware of. You will support change management processes and work closely with senior and line managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities in order to ensure a fair and consistent approach to people management. You will keep up to date on legal developments and advise management on compliance and risk factors
You will advise, manage and lead consultations from an HR perspective, manage complex investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases, provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases in line with company policies and procedures. You provide support to managers in the recruitment and selection of all staff, represent HR and participate in various Internal groups and committees across the organisation as well as providing reporting on key HR trends and statistics.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking application from candidates who have operated at a similar level, you are CIPD qualified and who have previous people management experience. You have an up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice and experience in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures. You will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, be proactive and self-motivated.
