Due to ongoing growth, Blackford Analysis are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive HR Manager to lead and shape their HR strategy in alignment with the company’s overall mission. With a diverse remit, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate closely with the Head of People & Executive Office to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s strategic goals
- Provide comprehensive HR support for day to day operational issues, ensuring the best fit solutions for the business
- Cultivate and main strong relationships across the business
- Champion a vibrant people agenda which included coordinating the People forum, engaging the entire Blackford team and continuously enhancing the workplace environment
- Develop and maintain HR policies, offering guidance to managers and employees on HR procedures
- Offer advice, coaching and general support to the management teams, including senior leadership on complex ER matters and employment law
- Encourage behaviours in line with the company values and foster a positive working environment
- Oversee employee records, including employment contracts, maternity and paternity requests, and absence and sickness records
- Assist in the recruitment of new team members, ensuring you attract, retain and develop a talented and dynamic workforce
- Lead the development and implementation of learning & development programs to ensure effective training delivery
- Support all people related aspects of ISO quality certification and uphold strong people standards during customer audits
- Lead the development and implementation of the performance appraisal process and align it with the salary and benefits planning throughout the organisation
- Handle payroll and benefits for both UK and US employees
- Establish and maintain monitoring, measurement and reporting in all relevant areas of people activity using HR tools and relevant data to optimise opportunities and improve business efficiency
- Participate in HR projects or other adhoc work as directed.

- An experienced HR generalist, adaptable to a changing working environment with a proven track record of delivering HR initiatives
- Confidence in leading HR projects
- CIPD qualified
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and legislative requirements, with the ability to provide practical advice and tools.
- Effective people skills, building trust, rapport and confidence with others as well as the confidence to challenge and influence
- Forward thinking with an innovative approach, constantly seeking to improve and develop tools, processes and solutions
