Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a professional services organisation with headquarters based in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre and who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join their management team and who will oversee all HR activities for the entire business. This is an excellent opportunity for a generalist practitioner to develop and deliver HR strategy whilst also supporting from an operational perspective.
You will be involved in employee relations, advising on absence, conduct and performance matters and, where applicable, providing HR support for formal meetings and in addition to this, you will upskill the management teams in all HR matters to sustain good employee relations.
Further to this, you will also be responsible for coordinating recruitment, ensuring cost-effective, best practice recruitment initiatives are in place, managing recruitment agency PSL suppliers.
Additional generalist responsibilities include but are not limited to; the design and delivery of suitable HR training initiatives as well as providing reward advice and benchmarking. In addition to compiling, reviewing and notifying Payroll of monthly adjustments out with normal salary procedures. You will also oversee procedural and policy development, monitoring the impact of HR initiatives on KPI’s and issue regular partner reports on areas of HR and compliance.
If you have strong generalist experience with the ability to manage HR operational matters as well as delivering on strategy then this could be the role for you! We are looking to speak with candidates who have operated at HR Manager level or equivilent and who have line management experience. A knowledge of complex employee relations cases is essential as well as confidence liaising with and influencing managers and business leaders.
