HR Operations Manager

Full Time, Permanent

Edinburgh (hybrid working)

£45,000 - £52,000 depending on experience

Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a membership organisation with offices based in Edinburgh and who are looking to recruit an experienced HR Operations Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

With responsibility for the smooth delivery of the end to end HR processes for all employees, from attraction through to exit, the HR Operations Manager will be supported by an HR Assistant and work closely with the HR Business Partner and HR Director to develop and refine systems and processes, ensuring all files are compliant with legal requirements, as well as providing insight and data on respective business centres and leading on cyclical activity, such as annual salary reviews/performance appraisals.

Working closely with the wider HR team, you will aim to understand key business goals and priorities, enabling appropriate HR solutions, contributing to the overall HR strategy and development of people plans, acting as a coach, trusted advisor and subject matter expert to all staff and candidates interacting with HR. This will also include providing guidance and support with complex or sensitive day to day people management issues, such as absence management, disciplinary and grievance.

The successful candidate will also support the hiring managers to lead all recruitment activity, from selection (advert placement and agency engagement), through to shortlisting via initial CV screening. You will also provide accurate and timely paperwork associated with staff from offer generation to exit questionnaires as well as generating key people metrics, providing interpretation and summary of data where appropriate.

We are looking to speak with candidates who have strong HR Generalist experience, who potentially have a service/operational background with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, who is process driven with a methodical approach to a busy workload. There will be a real focus on improving efficiencies and workflows in order to be able to report more effectively on changing, movers and leavers. There is also an opportunity to take forward the staff voice on health & wellbeing and staff recognition.
