Data & Insights Marketing Manager (12 Month FTC)

This Data & Insights Manager will work with the Sales and Marketing team to identify trends, understand key growth markets and new potential income stream, within a large global retail business.
Analysing and reporting on field sales performance, direct retail sales and external data, the Data & Insights Manager will work with large amounts of data to understand the effectiveness of current business development strategy, and suggest areas of key focus and improvement. Reporting to group “How can we impact market share?”
Key responsibilities include:
- Market Share Growth: Support team to deliver market share gains within your designated region.
- Data Utilisation: Utilise Salesforce and other relevant tools to track sales activities, performance metrics, and market trends. Leverage advanced analytics to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Performance Analysis: Analyse performance data related to market share and sales in independent convenience stores. Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform decision-making.
- Insight Generation: Transform analytical findings into meaningful insights that guide strategic decisions. Provide actionable recommendations to enhance market share performance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Leadership Team to align market share growth strategies with overall sales objectives. Establish a strong partnership to ensure seamless communication and coordination between market share enhancement efforts and sales initiatives.
- Performance Accountability: Work with sales management to ensure performance delivery, providing the tools to allow them to have performance conversations with their teams.
- Line Management: Responsible for direct line management of up to 2 individuals
We are looking for:
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Salesforce Proficiency: Experience in using Salesforce for sales data analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, who is confident on their feet and presenting both virtually and in person to large groups.
