Income Analytics Reporting Analyst - Glasgow

Our large financial services client are currently recruiting for an Income Analytics Reporting Analyst to join the FP&A team on a permanent basis. 

This role will involve being part of a project team combining all income systems into one. This team are responsible for talking to all stakeholders across the business ranging from C-suite to various colleagues across all departments. This role will provide revenue, debtors and bad debt analysis, presentations and insightful commentary on monthly forecast and budgets to the Executive Group (UK and US), Regional CFOs & Business Partners.

Work from anywhere! With offices based in Glasgow, the requirement to come to the office for meetings is not frequent, you could be based from further afield as long as you have ability to travel to Glasgow for key stakeholder and team meetings estimated every couple of months.

 

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have experience working in a fast paced industry or practice environment and are looking for an exciting new challenge with a great team and progressive company. The successful candidate will report to Income Analytics & Reporting Manager

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scope design for financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives.
  • To provide analysis and commentary to the Executive group (UK and US) 
  • Develop and continually improve forecasting, financial projections, and real time value-add information flow to the business.
  • Ability to use (and scope requirements for) new business intelligence tools and powerBI dashboard report
  • Providing analysis of P&L revenue and trending analysis
  • Ad-hoc analysis; reporting and presentations
  • Identification and correction of process inefficiencies.

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient finance systems skills and the ability to deal with large volumes of data from multiple sources
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Ability to priority manage and adhere to challenging deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible attitude to dealing with multiple tasks and environments
