We're partnering with an innovative professional services organisation to recruit an Information Security Analyst into a newly created role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across governance, risk, compliance and information protection, helping shape how security supports business growth and emerging technologies.
This role is ideal for an individual who wants to move beyond traditional security operations and incident response, taking ownership of information governance, Microsoft Purview administration and AI security controls within a highly collaborative environment. You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the organisation's information security governance framework, supporting compliance requirements, conducting risk assessments and helping ensure information assets remain protected across the business.
What will you be doing?

Support and enhance information security policies, standards and procedures

Conduct risk assessments, control reviews and gap analyses

Support internal and external audits and compliance activities

Track security risks, remediation plans and control improvements

Deliver practical security guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Lead the configuration and ongoing improvement of Microsoft Purview

Develop and maintain DLP, classification and information protection controls

Support supplier and third-party security assurance activities

Contribute to security awareness and colleague engagement initiatives

Assist with the secure adoption and governance of AI technologies across the business
What We're Looking For
-
Experience within Information Security, Governance, Risk or Compliance

Practical knowledge of Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities

Experience with data classification, sensitivity labels, DLP and retention controls

Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials or NIST

Experience supporting audits, risk assessments or assurance activities

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong organisational skills with a methodical and pragmatic approach
