Iconic Resourcing is working with a values-led organisation to appoint an experienced Employee Relations professional to step into a dedicated ER investigations and casework role.
This opportunity would suit someone who genuinely enjoys the detail and complexity of employee relations and prefers to focus on hands-on case management, rather than the broader strategic elements of a traditional HR role.
The role
You’ll act as a trusted ER specialist, taking ownership of a varied caseload. Duties include:

Leading disciplinary and grievance investigations end-to-end

Producing clear, well-structured investigation reports with practical recommendations

Supporting managers with long-term absence and performance concerns

Providing confident, pragmatic ER advice grounded in employment law

Working closely with operational leaders to ensure fair, consistent outcomes

Contributing to continuous improvement in ER processes and ways of working
What we’re looking for

Strong, proven experience in ER investigations and casework

Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law

Confidence advising and coaching managers through challenging situations

Clear, professional written skills – especially for investigation reports

Ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines, and prioritise competing cases

CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
