What you’ll do
You’ll take responsibility for planning and delivering internal audit assignments from start to finish, ensuring work is well structured, risk focused and delivered to a high standard. You’ll act as the main point of contact for clients, attend audit committee meetings, and provide clear, practical recommendations that genuinely improve governance, controls and risk management.
Alongside delivery, you’ll supervise and review the work of junior colleagues, helping to develop their skills while maintaining quality across the team. You’ll also support the growth of the education sector offering, contributing to business development activity and helping strengthen the firm’s presence in a key area of focus.
What you’ll need
• Professional qualification such as ICAS, ACCA, CIIA or equivalent experience
• Strong background in internal audit with experience leading assignments
• Confidence managing client relationships and audit delivery end to end
• Experience supervising or supporting junior team members
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organised, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
• A genuine interest in developing others and progressing your own career
