Operate at the heart of a global professional services firm at a time of significant international expansion. You will take ownership of complex cross border tax matters affecting the partnership and its members, while playing an important role in shaping how the firm approaches international tax compliance and strategy.
You will work closely with senior leaders across finance and the wider partnership, gaining exposure to high level tax issues that directly influence the firm’s global operations. It is a position that combines technical challenge with real influence, giving you the opportunity to contribute to strategic decisions rather than simply executing compliance.
With a supportive leadership team, flexible working, and strong visibility across the business, this role provides an excellent platform for an experienced international tax professional who wants broader responsibility, greater impact, and clear long-term progression within a global environment.
What you'll do
You will take the lead on managing international tax compliance across the EMEA region, ensuring income and corporation tax obligations are met accurately and on time. Working closely with finance teams and external advisers, you will coordinate overseas tax filings, support partners with cross border tax matters, and manage relationships with advisers and tax authorities.
You will oversee key initiatives including Country by Country Reporting and the implementation of Pillar Two compliance processes, while also contributing to tax disclosures within the partnership’s financial statements. Alongside day to day compliance responsibilities, you will monitor developments in international tax legislation and assess how changes in areas such as BEPS and global minimum tax rules impact the partnership.
You will also help strengthen internal tax processes, improve operational efficiency, and build strong working relationships across finance and business teams to ensure tax considerations are embedded into wider decision making.
What you'll need
• Significant international tax experience gained within a professional services firm, in house tax function, or a combination of both
• Strong knowledge of cross border tax compliance, particularly within the EMEA region
• Experience managing complex tax filings, reporting obligations, and interactions with overseas advisers
• Good understanding of developments in international tax including BEPS and Pillar Two
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate stakeholders across different jurisdictions
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
