Role: Associate Solicitor - Land and Rural Business
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: £58,000+

Our client’s renowned Land and Rural Business Team is expanding, and we are seeking skilled individuals to join this highly successful and well-respected department. The firm pride themselves on being a leading light in the rural space and have a reputation for delivering a first-class service to its broad range of clients.
What you’ll do:
This is an exceptional opening to specialise in a wide range of rural work, including the purchase and sale of estates, forests, farms, to country houses. Additionally, you will provide expert advice on crofting issues and agricultural holdings legislation. As an Associate Solicitor, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of this dynamic team. You will handle a diverse caseload, demonstrating your expertise in rural matters. While confident in working independently, you will also collaborate with colleagues on larger or more complex transactions.

What you’ll bring:
- A minimum of 3+ years' PQE (applications from candidates with more or less PQE will also be considered)
- Scottish Qualified Solicitor
- Solid knowledge and track record of working on a rural caseload
- Passion and enthusiasm for actively contributing to the team's success
- Strong independent working skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Experience in running your own caseload
- Ability to mentor and support the wider team
- A track record of contributing to business development and marketing initiatives
