Learning & Development Advisor

Iconic Resourcing HR are working with our client as they search for a Learning and Development Advisor to join their growing L&D team. In this role you will support the successful delivery, embedding and engagement of learning, development, and succession planning activity across the business.
The L&D Advisor will lead on all learning and development activity to ensure employees are set up for success and able to support the current and future needs of the organisation. Reporting to the Training Compliance & Development Manager they will also support the Early Careers Development Advisor to ensure consistency across the different populations within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key individuals in the wider HR team to design and deliver an effective L&D approach, which enhances the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of employees to improve individual performance, enable progression and meet organisational goals.
- Work with business leaders to manage the creation and maintenance of development training plans across the business.
- Work with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify learning needs, skills development, and professional development requirements.
- Create and make recommendations on learning and development plans that support the development, deployment, and career management of key talent populations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous L&D experience in a large, national business would be ideal.
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methodologies and best practice trends.
- Experience using learning needs analysis and implementing initiatives to address needs.
- Passion and commitment to delivery, impact/results and measuring output.
- Ability to influence and persuade.
- Effective stakeholder relationship building experience.
