Learning & Development Specialist
FTC – 6 months (flexible working available)

£40,000 - £45,000
Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a global healthcare brand specialist who are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join them on a 6-month contract basis, to support with delivering on their training & development agenda.
The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager to help create and deliver L&D initiatives across the business, looking at training & development processes, policy, personal development, PDR processes as well as some soft skills training around communication, teamwork and collaboration. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced L&D Specialist who will play a key role in shaping the culture and ensuring employees have the tools and resources they need to thrive.
You will support with:
Design & Facilitate Workshops
- Develop and run workshops aimed at introducing and embedding new company valies
- Create engaging and interactive sessions to educate employees on the values and foster a values-driven culture
Learning & Development Policy
- Develop a comprehensive L&D policy and ethos aligned with the organisations goals
- Establish connections between the L&D policy, revised PDR process and internal communication strategies
Managerial Development
- Define clear responsibilities and expectations for managers
- Conduct short workshops on “Management Essentials” including topics such as the absence policy and its interpretation
Employee Development
- Run workshops on various aspects of employee development, including setting meaningful objectives, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and staff development
- Integrate self-development opportunities into the PDR process
Training & Development Initiatives:
- Establish a structured process for setting employee objectives, aligning them with their roles, and evaluating effectiveness of training & development initiatives
- Continuously assess and improve T&D programs to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
