Learning Partner - Stirlingshire

Learning Partner 

Stirling (hybrid, some travel across Scotland) 

Full Time, Permanent 

Up to £42,000 + company car/car allowance

Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a family owned business based in Stirling, who have grown into a thriving, modern organisation and who are looking to add a Learning Partner to their team on a full time, permanent basis.  

The Learning Partner will act as a strategic partner to the business, providing advice, guidance and direction in the provision of a range of Learning & Development initiatives and projects across your business area.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to identify mandatory and core training needs and recommend learning solutions to meet business requirements
  • Ensure the maintenance of the Learning Management System and training records and ensuring training courses are arranged in line with mandatory and statutory requirements. 
  • Making recommendations on learning and development plans that support the development, deployment and career management of key talent populations 
  • Actively collaborate across the wider HR and L&D teams to scope, design, commission, plan and deliver learning solutions to support the needs of the business across Health & Safety, skills and capability development 
  • Working with business leaders to manage the creation and maintenance of training plans, ensuring statutory compliance at all times 
  • Supporting the business in conducting regular robust talent mapping and succession planning activity, using insights to shape onward learning requirements 
  • Piloting and evaluating learning and talent development initiatives for effectiveness, business relevance and efficiency, and continually seek ways to improve learning activity 
  • Instilling methodologies to evaluate true ROI of learning and development initiatives – reflecting effectiveness, business relevance, efficiency and cost versus benefit, and continually seek ways to improve learning activity 

We are looking for applications from candidates with strong Learning & Development experience, who can carrying out learning needs analysis at both individual and team level. You will have experience of adult learning theories, instructional design and supporting technologies and understand the benefits of employing a variety of learning delivery channels. You will also be able to work with third parties where necessarily and build relationships both internally with you key stakeholders as well as externally.
