Legal PA in Commercial Disputes - Edinburgh
Are you an experienced PA with a passion for delivering exceptional support in a fast-paced, professional environment? We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive PA to join a dynamic Commercial Disputes & Regulation team within a leading UK law firm.
The company - As a key part of the CDR division, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, and making a tangible impact in the team. Based in the heart of Edinburgh, you’ll be joining a collaborative and high-energy team, providing vital PA, secretarial, and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Efficient PA and secretarial support: Draft, proofread, and produce high-quality documents, correspondence, and presentations using advanced software like Word, Excel, Adobe, and more.
- Workflow management: Stay ahead of deadlines, manage diaries, meetings, and inboxes, ensuring fee earners have everything they need to perform at their best.
- Client relationship management: Handle client files, open and close matters, liaise with finance, manage billing, and maintain client contact databases.
- Event and meeting coordination: Arrange travel, manage room bookings, and ensure seamless execution of internal and external meetings.
- Proactive problem-solving: Liaise with internal teams and external clients to resolve issues, from IT assistance to invoicing queries.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy of documents and correspondence.
- Proven experience as a Legal PA or executive assistant, ideally within a disputes environment.
- A confident communicator who can liaise effectively with all levels of staff and clients.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using tools like BundleDocs, Adobe, and various document management systems.
