Litigation Paralegal – Conflict Resolution

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established Conflict Resolution team in Glasgow. The team advises a diverse client base including lenders, local authorities, commercial businesses, and professional services firms, and is recognised for delivering robust, practical, and client-focused solutions.
This is a varied position where you’ll manage your own caseload of contentious and non-contentious court applications. Work will cover will include secured lender recoveries, commercial debt recovery, sequestration and liquidation petitions, applications in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session. You’ll collaborate closely with senior partners, engage directly with clients, and take ownership of progressing cases efficiently from instruction through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and progress a portfolio of court applications under partner supervision
- Draft and prepare legal documentation, including motions and instructions for court appearances
- Maintain court diaries and manage key deadlines
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates, taking instructions, and managing case progress in line with service level agreements
- Ensure accurate client reporting, management information, and fee rendering
- Support colleagues with preparation for hearings and collaborate effectively across the team
- Contribute to business development activities and strengthen client relationships
We’re looking for a motivated paralegal with:
- Solid experience in litigation and strong knowledge of Scottish court procedure
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach
- Confidence working independently, while being collaborative with colleagues
- Good IT skills, with the ability to adapt to different systems (including client platforms)
- A proactive mindset, positive attitude, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients
