Loyalty & Retention Lead (15 month FTC)

An international house hold brand whose name is widely known across the nation is looking for an experienced Loyalty & Retention Lead. This role will be part of the senior leadership team for a multi matrix organisation and you will be responsible for 4 direct reports.
Working with multiple internal stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for building and delivering the business strategy for customer retention.
Reporting to one of the business directors, you’ll be tasked with:
- Managing customer churn, monitoring business data and trends to identify and implement testing and strategies that aim to proactively retain customers
- Working with an external CRM agency to launch, test and optimise the programme and associated rewards
- The overall responsibility for all communications sent to customers
- Owning the marketing strategy for customer facing products and working closely with the Product team to develop, share and agree requirements for future development and optimsation
- Managing the Refer A Friend scheme, ensuring continual testing and optimsation of performance to maximise resulting new player volumes
- Managing the email marketing team ensuring business send requirements are met, regular testing is carried out and activity is optimised
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Qualified to degree level and previous experience operating at a senior level within a marketing team
- Experience sitting as part of the senior leadership team
- Strong people management experience
- Experience of working within a loyalty & retention role preferable but experience of holding a senior marketing position essential
- Experience of managing a multi-million pound budget required
- Ability to work across a wide range of varying projects at any one time essential
- Experience of managing and working with a marketing agency essential
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required
