Management Accountant
Edinburgh
We’re currently recruiting for a Management Accountant who will take ownership of the end-to-end management accounts process, playing a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and meaningful insight to support decision-making. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, combining strong technical expertise with a commercial mindset.
Key responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts across multiple entities
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide clear, insightful commentary
• Produce and present KPI reports to senior stakeholders
• Analyse revenue streams to ensure accurate and compliant recognition
• Conduct cost analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including financial modelling
• Maintain and improve financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist with audit processes and preparation of required documentation
• Partner with budget holders to review performance and challenge assumptions
• Lead regular finance review meetings with stakeholders
• Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of ERP systems
• Identify and drive process improvements across reporting and finance operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and business performance
We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to build relationships across both finance and non-finance teams.
