Do you have month end accounting and reporting experience? Iconic Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to be based with our client in East Kilbride.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have experience of working in Industry and are looking for an exciting new challenge with a great team and a progressive company. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance team and will support the Finance Director and the Accountant. The successful candidate will also work closely with the commercial and operations teams.
The Duties & Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for producing the management accounts and support the commercial and operations teams in producing weekly and monthly sales documents.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Involvement in VAT return process
- Support the annual group audit and ensure a clean audit for the business
- Create budgets and accurate forecasts
- Carry out any reporting required to investigate variances and queries after month end reporting
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified or close to becoming a Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA)
- Previous experience within a similar role in management accounting
- Excellent time management skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Self motivation and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with different currencies would be an advantage
