Role Overview:
As the Operations Manager at Paragon Power Services, you'll play a pivotal role as the right hand to the Managing Director with overall management of the depot. Your responsibilities will include enhancing operational efficiency, cultivating a culture of excellence, and maintaining strong connections with staff, suppliers, transport, and customers. You'll ensure that all documentation is meticulously prepared for timely invoicing and maintain high standards of quality procedures and Health & Safety compliance. Managing budgets, forecasts, and reporting to the MD monthly, you'll lead by example with passion and drive, inspiring the team while delivering the company's objectives.
Key Objectives:
- Efficiently manage daily operations through effective communication.
- Lead team members including engineers and electricians, managing performance, setting and monitoring key objectives.
- Communication to the team on quality of work, attendance, customer care issues, technical issues and agreement on solutions.
- Managing and controlling job progress at every stage.
- Ensure accurate paperwork generation for timely invoicing.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures.
- Uphold Health & Safety compliance and equipment maintenance.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting to the Managing Director.
- Lead by example, inspiring the team to achieve the company's goals.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role within an SME environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Customer service skills and ability to develop strong customer relations.
- Outstanding organisational abilities.
- Champions health & safety.
