Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a reputable and forward-thinking legal firm in their search for a paralegal to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of their own caseload while also working closely with experienced directors and legal professionals.
In this key role, you’ll manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters under the supervision of a director. You’ll also support wider team activity across conveyancing and business purchase/sale transactions. It’s a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires a confident communicator and a strong understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing files under director supervision

Take client instructions and guide them through documentation and execution

Liaise with third parties such as estate agents, brokers and surveyors

Draft conveyancing documentation including missives and deeds

Order and analyse property searches and reports

Draft and submit Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT) returns

Register title deeds, including first registrations and transfers of part
-
Conduct AML checks and assess source of funds and wealth

Attend to the settlement of transactions and distribution of proceeds

Assist directors and qualified staff on business purchase/sale transactions

Prepare progress reports for directors in relation to your workload

Provide general support to directors and colleagues, especially during holiday periods

Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and data protection requirements

Maintain client files in accordance with the firm’s Data Protection Policy
