Paralegal – Industrial Disease / Personal Injury

Are you a Paralegal with experience in personal injury or industrial disease claims looking for a specialist role in a supportive, collaborative team? We have an exciting opportunity in Glasgow to join a dedicated Disease Team, assisting clients affected by conditions such as vibration-related injuries, noise-induced hearing loss, skin disease, and lung disease.
As a Paralegal in the Disease Team, you will:
- Manage Cases: Oversee pre-litigated industrial disease claims from start to finish.
- Prepare Legal Documents: Draft statements, letters, and other documentation to progress cases effectively.
- Investigations & Evidence Gathering: Conduct liability investigations and obtain witness statements.
- Medical Coordination: Liaise with medical experts to support client claims.
- Client Interaction: Provide compassionate and clear communication to clients facing challenging circumstances.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and support junior team members in case management.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial disease claims is preferred; otherwise, a strong personal injury background is essential.
- Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of personal injury law, with an interest in specialising in disease claims.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organisational, case management, and documentation skills.
- Communication Skills: Professional and confident engagement with clients, colleagues, Counsel, and medical professionals.
- Team Player: Someone who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.
