Iconic Resourcing HR is thrilled to offer its support to a prominent technical engineering company in Glasgow seeking to hire a Part-Time Human Resources Advisor on a 12-month fixed term basis. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Advisor will provide support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle with a focus on recruitment, TUPE transfers, and facilitating good employee relations in line with best and company practice.
The key responsibilities associated with this role include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate HRIS and personnel records.
- Managing employee absence records, conduct welfare reviews, and advise on sickness absence management procedures.
- Acting as an effective key user of the e-Recruitment tool as well as supporting and managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Overseeing the induction program for new starters.
- Handling day-to-day HR queries and support with people-related matters.
- Providing advice and support for disciplinary and grievance procedures and TUPE processes.
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed consistently and drive key practices around performance management and talent development.
- Conducting training needs analysis and assist in production of training plans.
- Carrying out exit interviews and report findings quarterly.
We are looking to speak to candidates who have:
- Demonstrable experience in HR administration and first line advice in a generalist HR role, preferably within a well-established, business-focused team.
- The ability and experience to deal with disciplinary/grievance and disputes within a FMCG environment.
- An excellent level of computer literacy and experience in HR systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Good communication/interfacing skills and friendly helpful disposition.
- The ability to liaise and influence with people at all levels and establish excellent working relationships.
- A desire to be operational and get to know your customers.
- The ability prioritise and plan and organise a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
