Payroll & Reward Manager
Part-Time | Temporary | Hybrid/Office-Based
We are currently supporting a well-established organisation in the search for an experienced Payroll & Reward Manager to join their team on an initial temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys operating in a hands-on role and playing a key part in ensuring payroll operations run smoothly, accurately, and compliantly.
The Opportunity
- Part-time position – 32 hours per week across 4 days
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
- Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing
- Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions
- Support payroll reporting and month-end processes
- Manage payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate payroll records and data integrity
- Support reward and benefits administration activities
- Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance processes
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to improve payroll operations and processes
- Support payroll system management and process improvements
- Provide guidance and oversight within the payroll function
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous payroll management or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance
- Experience using HRIS/payroll systems
- Experience with payroll reporting and reconciliations
- Knowledge of P11Ds and payroll-related reporting requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach
Experience supporting reward activities or commission processing would be advantageous but is not essential.
