Payroll & Reward Manager
Part-Time | Temporary | Hybrid/Office-Based

We are currently supporting a well-established organisation in the search for an experienced Payroll & Reward Manager to join their team on an initial temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys operating in a hands-on role and playing a key part in ensuring payroll operations run smoothly, accurately, and compliantly.

The Opportunity

  • Part-time position – 32 hours per week across 4 days
  • Temporary to permanent opportunity
  • Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
  • Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions
  • Support payroll reporting and month-end processes
  • Manage payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and data integrity
  • Support reward and benefits administration activities
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance processes
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to improve payroll operations and processes
  • Support payroll system management and process improvements
  • Provide guidance and oversight within the payroll function

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous payroll management or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance
  • Experience using HRIS/payroll systems
  • Experience with payroll reporting and reconciliations
  • Knowledge of P11Ds and payroll-related reporting requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach

Experience supporting reward activities or commission processing would be advantageous but is not essential.
