Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be coming to market with another payroll opportunity. We are looking for a detail-focused Payroll Assistant to join a busy organisation on a fixed-term basis. This role offers a blend of responsibility, flexibility and exposure to a wide range of payroll activity, supporting colleagues across the business while ensuring a smooth and accurate payroll service.
Working as part of a friendly finance team, you’ll support the delivery of multiple payrolls and play a key role in maintaining high standards of compliance and data accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the end-to-end processing of monthly payrolls

Handling payroll queries and escalating more complex issues where needed

Assisting with statutory calculations and ensuring relevant submissions are completed on time

Processing new starters, leavers and contractual changes

Updating payroll and time & attendance systems with accurate information

Carrying out routine checks and reconciliations to ensure data integrity

Preparing payroll reports for internal use and external partners
We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience in payroll administration within a fast-paced environment

Is confident working with payroll software and proficient in Excel

Can manage deadlines and deal with high volumes of data

Brings strong attention to detail and a proactive approach

Communicates clearly with colleagues at all levels
