Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are proud to be partnering with one of our highly regarded clients near Dunfermline as they seek to appoint a Payroll Lead on a full-time, permanent & hybrid working basis (office presence required up to 2x per week, very flexible).
Our client are a hugely successful operation who have established themselves as experts within their respective field. Due to business needs, the position of Payroll Lead will encompass immersing yourself in the end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring the smooth running of the process. Key areas of the role will surround:

Processing end-to-end payroll for up to 250 UK employees and a small international payroll

Ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies and UK legislation

Processing starters/leavers, p60's, p11ds, SSP/SMP, holiday pay, sick pay

Lead development and enhancement of system and processes, collaborating with departments throughout the firm to provide an efficient and effective service to colleagues

Maintain reporting between Payroll and accounting systems ensuring financial integrity, providing regularly scheduled and bespoke adhoc reporting and to exercise financial control; monitoring, reconciling, and reporting to relevant bodies
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:

Strong experience experience processing UK payroll

Strong UK payroll legislative knowledge, alongside excellent HMRC knowledge

Strong IT literacy skills, proficient in MS Excel (including vlookups & pivot tables)

Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage key stakeholder relationships

Ability to prioritise own workload and work well to deadlines
