£50,000 - £65,000 dependant on experience + excellent benefits

The business has changed, with new ways of working across the organisation being established to drive towards strategic growth, and because of this, we are looking to add an additional People & Culture Partner into the wider People Team structure. Working closely with stakeholders, both from across the business and within your own team, you will split your time between delivery of change and planned activity within business areas and holding SME (subject matter expertise) on topics that give you development and align with your passions or experience, such as inclusion, development, EVP, wellbeing, talent development etc.
Day to day, you will deliver:
- Organisational development and change: You will be a facilitator of growth, success and overall performance by aligning structural, cultural, and strategic realities of working at DC Thomson to respond to the needs of an ever-evolving business climate, using data and insight (where available) to drive decision making.
- Leader and manager capability: Ongoing coaching and counsel of leaders, managers, and teams in your assigned remit and across the business, sharing themes and trends with the wider team to target leadership development in the areas needed. The aim is to have capable and effective leaders to deliver growth and better people experiences.
- Skills and talent build: Understanding of skills gaps, target areas, mitigations and plans on how to manage. Regularly reviewing succession and talent within your areas with support from the wider team on how to build, buy, or borrow talent in the right ways to deliver growth.
- Delivery through others: You will work closely with other People and Culture Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Communications, and wider suppliers or partners to oversee the smooth delivery of the people plans to deliver better outcomes and experiences for colleagues. People Operations will play an ever-increasing role in day-to-day operational HR delivery where this role will help deliver training where needed and support changes to policy and process, playing a more strategic role within your aligned business area.
- Team culture: You will play your part in a high performing team, participating in regular feedback sessions and providing care and challenge to others as needed. As a team, there will be regular discussions on how to best use resource in a flexible way, to deliver the big and important priorities.

- Technical HR and people experience in the areas that matter, such as ER, policy, procedure, benefits. You will manage people risks in an appropriate way to mitigate and protect the business.
