Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a construction and infrastructure business who are looking to recruit a People Development Advisor who will support the successful delivery, embedding and engagement of their learning, development, and succession planning activity.
You will advise and support senior leaders and people leaders to help build organisational and individual capability. You will help shape behaviours and structures that contribute to the purpose of achieving a sustainable future. Driving and supporting a high-performance culture, you will lead on all learning and development activity to ensure employees are set up for success and able to support the current and future needs of the organisation.
Working closely with the Early Careers Advisor, you will ensure cohesion across approached for the different populations within the business and will design and deliver an effective L&D approach which enhanced the knowledge, skills and behaviours of employees to improve individual performance, enable progression and meet organisational needs. You will also support with the performance development cycle, providing appropriate communication, guidance and insights reporting. Alongside this, you will conduct learning needs analysis and measure the quality, impact and effectiveness of OD/L&D activities.
We are looking to speak with candidates who ideally have experience within a similar role where you understand learning needs analysis and can implement initiatives to address these needs. Any knowledge of creating career pathways and job families would be advantageous but not essential. As well as this, you will ideally have have current knowledge of effective learning and development methodologies and best practice trends. The ability to deliver presentations and leading on group sessions is key, along with strong organisational and project planning skills.
