Iconic Resourcing HR are looking for a People Operations Manager to join a passionate People & OD team where you will be responsible for the high quality, customer focussed and efficient People operations service to the organisation. Reporting to the Head of People, you will line managing a team of HR Business Partners, HR Advisers, Hr Administrators as well as the Recruitment team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work in collaboration with the Head of People to strategically align the People Operations Function to the People Strategy. You will also provide specialist advice and guidance to the Department of People and OD and to the organisation, including to the most senior level in relation to operations matters such as case management, employment legislation, recruitment, recruitment advertising and marketing and ensuring equality and diversity in all aspects of the service.
Day to day you will be:
- Supporting your line reports in providing leadership, coaching, feedback, and recognition to team members. You will proactively enable their continuous professional development to ensure their skills and knowledge keep pace with business and legislative developments.
- Lead the operational delivery of escalated employee relations case management issues.
- Continuously work to promote a high-performance culture with a focus on creating an excellent colleague experience.
- Managing and delivering a portfolio of operational projects, managing the smooth implementation of relevant process changes through effective project planning and coordination of resources within agreed timescales, developing efficient working practices through process mapping and multi-skilling of team.
To be considered for the role, you will ideally have the following:
- Experience in a People Management role leading and management a team of HR Professionals
- Significant People operations management experience including complex case management.
- Change management experience.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence, coach and empower.
- The ability the operate within a busy environment whilst being enthusiastic and driven.
- Relevant degree and/or Chartered Membership of CIPD (or commensurate experience and qualifications)
- Significant skills in building strong partnerships and working collaboratively
