We have been retained by Thompson Solicitors Scotland who are seeking a talented personal injury senior solicitor who’s looking to take their career to the next level. Thompsons Solicitors Scotland is expanding due to strategic growth and is seeking a skilled personal injury senior solicitor to join its highly successful and well-respected road traffic accident department. What you’ll do:
This is an enviable opportunity for an ambitious, outgoing personal injury senior solicitor to play a key role supporting the RTA team and being an integral part of the development of the department under the supervision and support of the Partner. Your role will involve leading a specialist pursuer litigation team within the firms newly restructured RTA department. You will be involved in advising clients on their rights following a road traffic injury, preparation of claims, litigating when required and negotiating settlements. You will also be comfortable appearing at Court as this role will involve managing a range of complex cases. You will also support, mentor, motivate and supervise the other members of your team.

What you’ll bring:
• 3+ years' PQE.
• Scottish Qualified Solicitor.
• Solid knowledge and track record of working on a personal injury caseload.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to foster positive connections and achieving successful outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of both Summary Cause and ASPIC procedures.
• Excellent grasp of written and oral advocacy work (including appearance for Proof and motions)
• Passion and enthusiasm for actively contributing to the team's success.
• Independent working skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability or desire to mentor and support the wider team.
