Be recognised for your expertise, trusted with your own client relationships, and given the opportunity to broaden your advisory experience, this is an excellent next step. You'll join a growing independent firm where people stay because they're valued, progression is based on ability, and you'll have direct access to experienced Partners who are invested in your development.
This is more than a compliance role. You'll work with a varied portfolio of individuals, business owners and entrepreneurial clients, gaining exposure to planning opportunities and advisory work alongside your compliance responsibilities. With flexible hybrid working, a 35-hour week, no unnecessary bureaucracy, and a genuinely supportive culture, you'll have the platform to build a long-term career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What you'll do
You'll manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, taking responsibility for preparing and reviewing tax returns while building strong relationships through proactive, commercially focused advice. You'll support clients with a range of personal tax matters, identify planning opportunities, and work closely with colleagues across accounts, audit, and business advisory to deliver a joined-up service.
You'll also assist with more technical advisory projects as your experience develops, contribute to maintaining high technical standards across the team, and support junior colleagues through coaching and day-to-day guidance where appropriate.
What you'll need
• ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience
• Experience managing personal tax compliance for a varied portfolio of clients
• Exposure to personal tax advisory work or a desire to develop in this area
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Good technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• A proactive approach and ambition to continue developing your career
