About: A leading public sector organisation require a PKI Engineer for an initial 6-month contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Certificate Authority Administration: Manage and monitor Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), including Certificate Enrolment Web Service and Policy Web Service.
- Azure Key Management Services: Ensure robust cryptographic key security through effective management of Azure key management services.
- Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM): Support the delivery of SCM to manage the lifecycle of digital certificates.
- PKI Service Audit: Conduct audits of the current certificate estate, identify risks, and propose solutions by understanding existing certificate use-cases.
- Technical Support: Participate in the technical support of the PKI managed service, performing certificate checks, issuing, and revoking certificates.
Technical Expertise Required:
- PKI and Certificate Deployment: Hands-on experience with PKI and automation of certificate deployment.
- Machine Identity Technologies: Expertise in PKI machine identity technologies such as SSH, SSL, and TLS.
- Key Management Systems (KMS): Experience managing KMS for cryptographic key security.
- PKI Systems and Services: Good understanding of PKI systems, ACME protocol, Online Certificate Status Protocol, and the use of RESTful APIs.
- Certificate Authority Administration: Hands-on experience with Certificate Authority Administration and ADCS monitoring.
