Iconic Resourcing is delighted to be supporting a well-established, independent accountancy practice in their search for a professional and personable Receptionist.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative team where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. The current postholder is progressing into a new internal role, which speaks volumes about the supportive culture and development opportunities within the business.
As Receptionist, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience, while also providing essential administrative support to the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately

Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
-
Preparing teas, coffees and lunches for meetings when required

Setting up and resetting boardrooms for meetings

Opening and distributing daily post

Scanning and filing documents accurately

Supporting client administration, including ID verification tracking and government gateway access requests

Banking cheques on behalf of the business and clients

Managing office supplies and stationery orders

Organising keys and general office coordination tasks
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and enjoys being at the heart of a busy office.
You will likely:

Have previous reception or front-of-house experience

Have administration experience

Be confident managing calls and interacting with clients professionally

Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Be comfortable handling confidential information

Take a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting a team

Enjoy working in a structured, office-based environment
