Regional Account Manager 

Leeds (this is an external role therefore you will be field based) 

Circa £40k plus bonus

Full time & Permanent 

Are you an experienced field-based sales professional who loves getting in front of customers, building relationships and making an impact? We're working with a well-established organisation within the industrial and manufacturing sector who are looking to appoint a Regional Account Manager to join their high-performing team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s commercially driven, takes ownership of their patch, and understands the value of a meaningful conversation. If you enjoy growing customer spend and uncovering new business opportunities – this one’s for you!

The Role

You’ll be joining a regional sales team and managing a portfolio of 80–100 customer accounts – a mix of loyal clients and untapped potential. With a clear visit strategy and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, you’ll be focused on growing relationships, increasing revenue, and delivering genuine value to your customers.

From reducing downtime to improving efficiency, you’ll work alongside branches, suppliers, and product specialists to create tailored solutions that make a difference.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering meaningful customer interactions per week – virtually and face-to-face.

  • Managing and growing your pipeline using CRM tools and sales insights.

  • Building strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.

  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive customer success.

  • Reporting on KPIs including customer coverage, opportunity generation and conversion.

  • Taking part in regular 1:1s and field visits to support your development and performance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in face-to-face sales – ideally field-based.

  • A stable track record with a passion for long-term relationship building.

  • Confidence and persistence when it comes to opening doors and winning business.

  • A team player with integrity, strong communication skills, and commercial drive.

  • Experience in MRO, mechanical, tools or trade environments would be a bonus – but full training is provided.
