Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
Glasgow (Full-Time or Part-Time Considered)
Hybrid working
Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor ready to take the next step in your career? We’re working with a well-established and friendly city-centre firm that is looking to grow its property team with the addition of a confident and motivated solicitor.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 3+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Director, managing your own caseload, and helping lead a team of 7 paralegals and secretaries. You’ll also be actively involved in knowledge and file management, and the continued development of the property department.
The firm is ideally looking for someone to work full-time from their Glasgow city centre office, though there is flexibility for occasional home working and consideration for reduced hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Supporting and collaborating with the Director
- Providing guidance and oversight to a small team
- Contributing to business development and client growth
- Enhancing internal processes and knowledge-sharing within the department
What’s on Offer:
- A friendly, supportive team culture where people genuinely enjoy working
- Genuine prospects for advancement within the firm
- Competitive, market-rate salary
- Pension scheme after 3 months
- 4 weeks’ holiday + statutory holidays
- Office closure over Christmas/New Year (subject to annual review)
- Excellent central location – walking distance to Glasgow’s main train stations and subway
Bringing a following is welcomed but not essential—what matters most is a strong grasp of residential conveyancing and a proactive, team-focused approach.
