Retail Liaison Officer

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with The Centre, Livingston, as they look to hire a new Retail Liaison Officer to work with the centre management team in providing their retailers with the highest level of service. This role will work between centre operations, marketing and the many retailers on site at The Centre, and will act as the point of contact of all enquiries and ongoing projects.
As Retail Liaison Officer you’ll be responsible for the consistent delivery of tenet guidelines. By developing strong relationships with retail managers on site, you will monitor the performance of tenants and support where required. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Support the Marketing Manager to communicate marketing plans.
- Engage tenants in marketing activity and promote all centre activity to encourage participation.
- Actively seek out opportunities to include in marketing activity.
- Drive retailer Social Media content and social media monitoring.
- Lead on all turnover collation, analyse and review all available sales turnover details/data and present trends. Supporting the Deputy Centre Director where necessary.
- To report regularly on footfall figures and retailer trade.
We are keen to speak to candidates who have worked in a forward facing, customer service focused role. You might have a background in travel, events, tourism, hospitality or retail. You will enjoy a people focus role and be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. The key attributes we are looking for in our new Retail Liaison Officer are:
- Previous experience in previous customer service/Retail experience in a busy, fast paced environment in a similar industry.
- Excellent report writing, analytical and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Understanding and a genuine passion for the retail environment.
- Ability and confidence to analyse and understand multiple data sources.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
