Reward Manager - FTC, 12-15 months - Edinburgh & Lothians

Open to remote working, must be accessible to Edinburgh 

FTC, 12-15 months

Iconic Resourcing HR are pleased to be working with an Edinburgh based organisation who are a leading provider within their field and who are looking to add a Reward Manager to their HR Team on a fixed term based to cover a period of maternity leave.  

Reporting to the Group People Director you will have responsibility for the governance of employee benefits, including pension, life assurance and private medical cover and to implement an agreed programme of compensation initiatives and policy actions. As well as this, you will provide effective consultancy and advisory services on all reward and benefits matters to senior managers and HR Business Partners and take responsibility for reward governance via Remuneration Committee meetings. 

You will plan and execute major projects such as the annual salary review and bonus processes, with a focus on ensuring performance and behaviour are appropriately rewarded. In addition to regularly undertaking survey analysis and market research to provide insight into salary levels and the design of innovative bonus policies, processes and approaches. Further responsibilities are inclusive of but not limited to benchmarking benefits based on market data and providing training to the wider team to ensure they can answer basic queries regarding all benefits.   

As the business sees the introduction of Workday you will collaborate with Benefits Advisor and HR Operations Manager to improve and automate all Reward and Benefits processes.  As well as, working with HR Operations Manager to deliver system improvements that will assist with reward and benefits strategies and reporting. 

If you have a sound technical knowledge relating to all aspects of compensation and benefits, including development of competitive cash compensation structures and job evaluation methods then we would like to hear from you! You will have strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse information and evaluate results to find the best solution and solve problems.  Experience in preparing Board and Remuneration Committee papers is essential as is an understanding of reward “best practice”. Experience of implementing and communicating new benefits is desirable as well as experience using Workday, or similar portal.
