Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to be partnering with Wallace White to bring to market an exciting Senior Accounts Assistant role on a full-time, permanent basis.
How will you fit?
You will play a key role within the Accounts & Business Advisory team, adding value through the following:
- Managing a portfolio of owner-managed business clients across sectors including construction, hospitality, recruitment, healthcare and professional services
- Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts, VAT returns and management information
- Providing both corporate and personal tax support to clients, working closely with internal specialists where required
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing proactive commercial advice
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their professional development
- Managing multiple client engagements and workflows to ensure deadlines and service standards are consistently met
- Supporting Partners and senior leadership in delivering a high-quality advisory-led service to clients
To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with significant experience in an accountancy practice environment
- Experience managing or supervising teams and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the confidence to engage with business owners and senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and deliver multiple assignments simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive, motivated and commercially aware approach, with a desire to contribute to the continued growth of the firm
Experience with the following software would also be advantageous:
- Iris Accountancy Suite
- Xero
- Sage Accounts
- QuickBooks
This role offers a competitive salary of up to £58,000, along with an excellent benefits package.
